The Midland Railway Centre (Butterley) is a preserved railway in Derbyshire. It is a 3 1/2 mile section of the former line from Ambergate to Pye Bridge and runs between Hammersmith and Riddings, where there is a main line connection to the Erewash Valley Line. You'll also find the Golden Valley Light Railway at Swanwick, which is a short narrow gauge railway, usable in it's own right within the route!
The railway features a large array of sidings at Swanwick Junction, perfect for shunting scenarios whilst the station at Swanwick features 3 platforms and a disused bay. There's plenty to do on this short but charming little railway!
This route has been developed lovingly for Train Simulator by Lewis Cox,it features a number of custom objects that Lewis has created himself, these include the stations at Butterley and Swanwick Junction, along with a variety of other assets along the line.

HammersmithHammersmith is the western terminus of the route, featuring a single platform and run round loop featuring disused platform. The second line from here to Butterley is out of use generally and is used for stabling coaches at the Butterley end. Shortly after leaving Hammersmith the line crosses Butterley Reservoir on a causeway.
