​In this pack there are various representations of the six preserved members of the Class 55/Deltic locomotives that escaped the cutter’s torch after withdrawal from front line duties in 1982. 

In addition the pack also includes versions of D9014 'The Duke of Wellington's Regiment',55008 'The Green Howards' and an April 1981 version of 55009 'Alycidon' with Finsbury Park cabs

About the Pack:

​This pack sets out to heavily modify and enhance the visual appearance, simulation and add extra controls and features in order to provide an enhanced user experience for the Class 55 Deltic loco in the Train Simulator series. This loco was seen at launch of Kuju’s Rail Simulator in 2007 and since then computers, tools and the simulator itself have received a lot of changes and we seek to build upon the base model and bring it up to a more modern standard.

​There are a number of new features and associated controls that have been added to the loco to accompany improved visual elements of extended functionality for these.

You only need the ESSENTIAL requirements to use the Deltics,the add-ons above are extra scenario requirements,each scenario varies and some require only one piece of additional software,so please take this into consideration and check the manual,which is available at the top of the page for full details!

  • Headboards - 16 headboards,including right and top lamp brackets and central headboards
  • New lighting - changeable lights,that allow you to choose between tail lights,headlights and WIPAC lights independently

  • Changes to throttle control - custom scripting for throttle control with delay when applying power
  • Changes to brake control - custom scripting for braking making the loco handle in a more realistic manner
  • Visible locomotive nose in cab view (This was only possible with BR Blue Diesel Pack Deltics until now)
  • Over 1,400 Quick Drive consists
  • 24 engaging scenarios,using various locos on a huge variety of routes
  • 21 individual locos,with multiple versions for each of the 6 preserved locos,including single and twin engine versions
  • Now includes 3 non-preserved locos (55008,55010 and D9014)
  • D9016 'Gordon Highlander' complete with WIPAC headlights as seen in 2002 in Porterbrook livery.
  • New "Clag" effects - Control the famous Napier exhaust in all its glory,from over 20 new particle emitters!
  • Around 100 new custom objects that bring each loco to life,exactly like it's real life counterpart!

  • Stopped AI reverting to tail lights when the train stops
